iMonitor Risk Assessments
Workplace Health & Safety
The iSafety & iMind Risk Assessments highlight best practice expectations and if there are any gaps in your systems, documentation and processes. Business Monitor provides a detailed report, and organisations then determine next steps to minimise any risks.
-
The iSafety Risk Assessment reviews your workplace health and safety systems, policies, procedures and risk management strategy for workers located at your business location and any other locations where you may have workers located at any given time. The assessment includes a detailed series of questions on policies, actions, registers, training and incidents and is then followed up with a detailed report and recommended actions, if necessary, to strengthen risk management, reduce risk exposure and maintain a safe workplace.
-
In parallel with iSafety, the iMind Risk Assessment undertakes to review the ever-increasing risks associated with psychosocial health in the workplace and in particular policies and procedures to address, manage and prevent the problems that can occur.
This assessment identifies the workplace and social factors that can influence the mental health of workers, the systems, policies and procedures that should be in place. The subsequent detailed report and recommendations will ensure your organisation has the tools and resources to maintain a mentally healthy workplace.
Worker Engagement
The Worker Engagement Risk Assessments review your procedures from sourcing to exit including recruitment, worker engagement, right to work and talent management. Business Monitor works with our partners to ensure the assessments address latest legislation and key risks.
-
The iRecruit Risk Assessment takes a critical view of your organisation’s recruitment practices, including any relationships you may have with third parties to recruit talent. In every instance the process should be thorough, credible, non-discriminatory, and consistent - from the initial advertisement to the on boarding. This assessment will review policies, procedures, communication strategies to build a profile of your practices and highlight areas where improvements or change may be necessary.
-
The iEngage Risk Assessment is a detailed review of where your risks might be when deciding how to best engage and work with employees, casuals and contractors. It is designed to identify areas that may require further analysis and support. The assessment will review areas such as type of work, locations of work, awards, remuneration arrangements, type of engagement (e.g. casual, part time, permanent), wages, leave and other entitlements, engagement contracts, other work arrangements such as uniforms, shifts and accommodation. The Assessment will also take into account the multiple entities involved in worker engagement such as payroll providers and contractor management companies to ensure compliance.
-
The iWork Risk Assessment provides essential information for organisations needing to ensure the workers they are engaging have the Right To Work in Australia and to understanding where the risks might be in assessing and recording this information about candidates. It is designed to identify areas that may require further analysis and support and will request information related to visas, sponsorship agreements and record keeping. The report will highlight if any areas need improvement and what policies and procedures should be in place.
-
The iTalent Risk Assessment focusses on reviewing your policies, procedures and record keeping for managing your workforce capabilities from onboarding to exit. The assessment requires evidence of your processes for identifying HR needs and into the future, it unpacks your retention strategy across all levels of the organisation and also your management policies for underperformers and other challenging employees. There is a particular focus on considering the management of work from home requirements. The report provides an excellent tool for future workforce planning and ensures you have a roadmap of areas for improvement or change.
Privacy & Cybersecurity
iMonitor Risk Assessments for Privacy, Data Management and Cybersecurity lead the way in exposing risks and providing suggestions for improvement and business protection. Our legal advisers and Cyber Partners ensure currency across all emerging risks.
-
Privacy and data breaches are a huge risk to organisations and managing sensitive information including the need for secure and reliable data management systems is the driver of the iPrivacy Risk Assessment. This is an external assessment which includes Identification of information collected, purpose of collection, how it is collected, used and stored. An assessment of your data management system, and your policies and procedures could lead to a recommended data cleansing to ensure there are no other hidden risks. A detailed report is provided after the Assessment and recommended actions for the organisation to consider.
-
The iCyber Risk Assessment recognises there are many elements that need to be managed: hardware, software, users, access levels, security controls and more. The Assessment can be conducted to different levels, depending on the risks, complexity and
levels of maturity of security management by an organisation. The basic assessment is designed to the type and range of data, systems and controls that may be in place. A more thorough assessment is often appropriate, depending on the initial findings. Findings from the assessment will be captured in a report, which you can use to determine your priority actions.
Governance
iBoard, iEthics, iQuality & iCollab Risk Assessments work to ensure that the governance of organisations is not inadvertently creating risk for the success of the business. They are fundamental to ensuring that the company’s leadership are in well informed and in tune with current best practice and market trends.
-
Governance systems that direct and control a company should recognise the relationships of the people involved with an organisation, both between each other and with the organisation itself. Management of authority controls, accountability for those who exercise control and documented procedures of operation should be reviewed regularly. The iBoard Risk Assessment reviews Board processes, agendas and Director’s responsibilities with particular focus on the approach to business risk management by the Board.
-
The iEthics Risk Assessment is a unique assessment as it takes the assumption that all businesses aspire to be an ethical business, but on closer examination it is often seen to be easier to overlook or justify the unethical behaviours. It is well documented that even minor oversights, however innocent or unintentional can seriously harm business reputation. This Assessment takes a deep dive approach to reviewing policies and training in key areas including but not exclusive to conflict of interest, anti-bribery, modern slavery and other emerging ethical business challenges.
-
Quality management is widely regarded as a platform for good management– one that supports
operational visibility, management control and performance monitoring. The basis of “quality” is to ensure customers and other stakeholders receive the product or service that meets their stated
expectations. The iQuality Risk assessment is invaluable as a high-level check that your business understands what these expectations are, has clearly defined activities that support delivery to these expectations, measures how well this is achieved, and makes improvements as needed for even better outcomes. -
iCollab Risk Assessment is a key review of whether effective competitive business relationships are based on a collaborative approach. This is an important Assessment for organisations who work with partners. The Assessment reviews organisational systems, processes and compliance. The Assessment looks at your frameworks for bringing in new opportunities, partnerships and processes and highlights any risks or gaps that need to be addressed.
